Devil's In the Details: Rules Update

Devil, Aim For Me was originally released while Trophy Dark— the RPG from which it takes its rules— was still in development. (If you don't already have a copy of Trophy Dark, you should consider grabbing a copy. Not only is it an amazing play-to-lose game, but you'll get my "A Warm and Pleasant Hum" scenario included alongside many other creepy incursions.)

By the time Trophy Dark was released, its rules had undergone a few changes. For one, the Reduction Roll was modified, to make it easier to lower your Ruin and changing the roll's focus to be more about whether or not you're noticed betraying your fellows. Also added were a Help Roll and a Contest Roll, and the latter is a rattlesnake in the form of game technology. All the warning signs are there, but you're probably going to mess with it anyway.

I just uploaded two new documents: a plain-text version of the game (long overdue for accessibility) as well as a Rules Addendum containing the new/modified rules. Please feel free to include these rolls in any future games of Devil... you may play. Happy hunting, buckaroos!
